Add some more to the mumps list.
The Canucks announced on Friday that Troy Stecher had a confirmed case the mumps, while Chris Tanev, Nikita Tryamkin, Markus Granlund, and Mike Chaput were showing symptoms.
All five players were out of the lineup during Saturday’s 4-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks.

While Stecher returned to the ice for practice on Sunday, and Tanev has been cleared as well, the team isn’t out of the woods yet with the virus.
Coach Desjardins confirms Rodin, Hutton and #Canucks trainer Brian Hamilton are currently experiencing symptoms of mumps.

Defenceman Ben Hutton, along with injured forward Anton Rodin, and trainer Brian Hamilton are also showing symptoms.
Luca Sbisa left Saturday’s game with a stomach flu, although the team said his symptoms are different than the mumps.
The Canucks will try to find six healthy defencemen for their next game at home to the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.
