It’s that time of year when 7-Eleven Canada celebrates the sugary cool deliciousness that is the Slurpee by handing out thousands of freebies across the country for 7-Eleven Day.
Chances are you weren’t filling your brightly-hued cup with the slushy sipper and a scoop-ended straw back in 1966 when the Slurpee came to Canada, but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yo’ self on its 50th birthday.
To celebrate “50 Summers of Slurpee,” on Monday July 11, 2016, participating 7-Eleven Canada locations will be handing out free 12-ounce Slurpees between 11 am and 7 pm (while supplies last).
