The TTC will be launching an incident reporting mobile app tomorrow.

Although currently, not much is revealed about the app or how it will work, the launch will be part of the TTC’s new anti-harassment campaign.

TTC Chair Josh Colle, TTC Chief Customer Officer Kirsten Watson, and Insp. Pauline Gray of the Toronto Police Sex Crimes Unit are expected to launch the campaign on September 6 at 1 pm.

More details will follow.

Last month, Toronto police arrested a man following a bomb threat on the TTC. As well, a new random drug and alcohol testing program was implemented for staff at the transit agency earlier this year. The program has resulted in 21 failed tests since May 8.
