Get your cameras ready, a light exhibit is taking over Toronto’s waterfront this winter.

For the second year in a row, the Winter Light Exhibition is taking place on the west island of Ontario Place, with a planned opening date for mid-November.

The event is free to the public and will feature a series of illuminated exhibits by local artists that will project, shape, transmit, reflect or contain light.

“Utilizing creativity, innovation, light and discovery, creators from all artistic streams will showcase their exhibits following the curatorial theme of Disruptive Engagement,” reads the event’s website.

In addition to the light exhibit, visitors can also check out the synthetic skating rink and DJ skate nights, evening bonfires, and take in film screenings at the iconic Cinesphere.

If you didn’t have the chance to check out Ontario Place’s winter programming last year, here’s what you can expect.
