This beautiful waterfall near Toronto is definitely worth the hike
In case you haven’t noticed, Hamilton is kind of having a moment right now.

One of the most spectacular among them are the Chedoke Falls atop the Niagara Escarpment. Aside from their natural beauty, part of their appeal lies in the challenge of getting there. There is no road access anywhere near the falls, and hiking boots come highly recommended.
What’s absolutely not recommended is going for a swim in the falls’ basin. The Chedoke Falls Drain is a major storm sewer that also happens to pick up residential sewage on its path. So no matter what you see in these pictures, don’t follow (bathing)suit.
Optically, however, they’re quite stunning – and definitely worth the hour it takes to reach them from Toronto. We’re not sure what TLC was on about, but definitely do go chasing this waterfall….
