Toronto restaurant comes in first on list of Canada’s 100 Best in 2018

Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants just unveiled its 2018 list, and once again a Toronto restaurant has taken top honours – the very same restaurant as last year!

For the second year in a row, Chef Patrick Kriss’ and Amanda Bradley’s restaurant Alo comes in first of 100 restaurants selected by a 92-member panel of esteemed gourmets including restaurateurs, chefs, food writers, and discriminating diners from across Canada.

While Toronto retains its status as home to the best restaurant in Canada, the city doesn’t dominate this year’s list as it as in years past.

Toronto restaurants account for 18 of the top 100 restaurants in the country and only three Toronto restaurants scored in the top ten – compared to last year when Toronto restaurants accounted for nearly 25% of the entire listed and represented half of the top 10.
