6 Toronto pop-ups to visit before summer ends

Summer nights on the patio are soon to be over. Enjoy the last few days of the season at a few pop-up bars and restaurants in Toronto.

Before you know it, the floral patios and beach bars will be gone and outdoor seating no more.

Rest assured, you still have some time to enjoy the warmth of the summer season and get some good food.

Here’s a list of six Toronto pop-ups to discover to get that last bit of summer.

This new rooftop patio offers stunning views and a fusion menu for all to try. Running until Fall 2020, you’ll want to get a reservation, especially at night, when the venues’ patio lights up in fluorescent lights for a perfect photo op!

Gerrard Street Market

A parking-lot-turned-patio opened this summer and is covered in sand, beach chairs, and patio umbrellas to feel like you’re relaxing on a beach. It might not be the type of getaway you had in mind, but it’s just as close.

A Western-Thai food fusion has come to life at By Chef Nuit’s kitchen in this new pop-up. You can enjoy a twist on classic burgers and poutine with a bit of a kick. They’ll be running until the fall season, so although you might not have a chance to eat on their patio, you can still take the food to go.

Clockwork Terrace at Fairmont Royal York

Clockwork Terrace’s floral patio will give you that bright and beautiful scenery while you enjoy a refreshing drink and filling appetizers. You only have September to enjoy the beauty of the patio.

Miss. Likklemores Pop-up

A burst of flavour in every bite will have you wanting to come back every time. You can enjoy the delectable taste of Caribbean food on their outdoor patio, soaking in the sun in Toronto’s Queen Street West area.

Venice Beach up north! Encapsulating the LA vibe, this former storage lot turned patio features delicious food straight from the grill, cocktails, and more. There are also California-inspired meals, which include vegan, veggie, and gluten-free options too.
