Toronto’s east end is about to get a brand new “meat”-ing place. M’Eat Resto Butcher is opening this July on Queen East – it’s a new farm-to-table concept from Executive Chef and Owner Cam Nelson that will operate as a butcher shop and restaurant.

Featuring locally sourced, hand-selected meats all butchered directly on the premises, the new spot with offer a variety of cuts and breeds for retail (from Monday through Saturday until 6 pm) as well as at a meat-tasting bar serving up a daily selection of sandwiches over lunch-hour.

Meanwhile, evenings at M’Eat Resto Butcher will see the kitchen serve up selections like tartar, duck confit, and even vegan selections, and weekends are reserved for a meat-forward brunch from Chef de cuisine Rudy Boquila (Lamesa).
