Attention craft beer lovers – there’s a festival slated for Toronto next month that you don’t want to miss.

Yes, the two-day event is the craft beer aficionado’s dream and it’s taking place at the massive venue of West Island, Ontario Place. On June 23 and 24, you can visit the bevvy-inspired event to sample some of the most unique independent brews.

Ace Hill, Big Rock Brewery, GLB, Cowbell Brewing Co, Muskoka, Market Brewing Co, Shiny Apple Cider, and Pint Pursuits, are just some of the brewers hitting up the festival.

IPAs, pale ales, dark ales, hop-filled, and lighter lagers will be on tap throughout the venue. Not to mention crisp, summer cider options if you want to treat your palate to something totally new.

What makes the festival even better is that a percentage of ticket sales is donated to the non-profit organization, Second Harvest. Last year $5,000 was donated and this year you can increase that number by snapping up a ticket to Toronto’s Craft Beer Festival.

One-day general admission tickets for the event cost just $27.50 each and this gets you an official festival sampling glass, five sampling tokens worth $10, and access to the event until last call at 9:45 pm.

Want to attend in true VIP style? No problem.

You can snap up a one-day VIP ticket for the festival and enjoy the exclusive features that come with it – for $55. This means you get an official festival sampling glass, 10 sampling tokens worth $20, early access to the event at 2:30 pm through the VIP entrance, and access to the VIP lounge.

Additional VIP area perks include:

  • Additional beer and food sampling
  • Dedicated bathrooms
  • Extra seating and shade
  • Great sight-lines to the stage

Of course, you don’t have to be drinking to attend the festival. You can go along to check out the food and live entertainment with the $10 Designated Driver ticket option. DDs will be given a specific wristband which identifies them as such (so they’re not able to drink), and can enjoy everything else that’s awesome about the event.

And with live music pumping and food vendors sizzling such as Those Pizza Guys, T Dot’s Naan Sense, and Chef’s BBQ, there are enough reasons to visit the festival and indulge.

Oh, and you know, sink a craft beer or two.

Just remember to bring your ID as all festival goers must be 19 years of age or older. Happy sipping.
