It’s the end of an era for Schitt’s Creek.
A star of the popular Canadian comedy show that airs on CBC says the series will come to an end after its sixth season next year.
In a message on social media, star and co-creator Dan Levy thanked the show’s dedicated fans, and said he and his father, comedy legend Eugene Levy, decided this upcoming season would be their last.
“We are so grateful to have been given the time and creative freedom to tell this story in its totality, concluding with a final chapter we had envisioned from the very beginning.”
The final 14-episode season will air on CBC and Pop in 2020.
