Here's how much money Raptors players will make this season

The Toronto Raptors are set to spend more than $138 million on players for their active roster this season. That ranks them third-highest in the NBA, behind only the Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors.

That probably shouldn’t come as much surprise given the Raptors’ success (at least in the regular season) in the last handful of seasons.

Though Kawhi Leonard is their best player, he’s not their highest-paid. Leonard, who is in line for a big raise as a free agent after this season, currently ranks third on the Raptors in base salary.

Don’t feel too sorry for him though, as he’s set to earn north of $20 million.

Kyle Lowry is the highest-paid Raptors player, both in terms of base cash ($31 million) and cap figure ($31.2 million). The four-time NBA All-Star is also the seventh-highest paid player in the entire league.

Toronto’s other $20+ million man is Serge Ibaka, who makes $21.67 million.

The Raptors have five players that will make more than $10 million next season, and eight that will make more than $8 million.

Bargains on the team include second-year forward OG Anunoby, who makes $1.95 million, and Pascal Siakam, who is the second-lowest paid player at $1.54 million.
