A large black bear wandered into Ottawa's ByWard Market this morning
The Ottawa police have had a bit of an unusual start to their morning, as a rather large black bear is currently on the loose in the ByWard Market.
Police began dealing with the curious black bear around 3 am and have since blocked off the area of Dalhousie and Murray as they attempt to tranquilize the bear and move it to safety.
Officers are asking people to avoid the area, so traffic doesn’t get “grizzly.”
