Male technician allegedly sexually assaults patient during medical test at Toronto hospital

A 43-year-old male technician has been arrested following a sexual assault investigation.

According to Toronto Police, it is alleged that on Thursday, August 29, a 56-year-old woman was at Humber River Hospital located at 1235 Wilson Avenue in Toronto.

Police say that during a scheduled medical appointment, the woman was allegedly sexually assaulted by a male technician performing a medical test.

Dhavalkumar Desai, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with sexual assault.

According to Toronto Police, a sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex and penetration.
