Maker Pizza is opening a second location in Toronto

Maker Pizza’s first Toronto location opened in fall of 2015 and is tucked away on a side street just off Spadina.

The pizzeria has become a fast favourite for its menu developed by VICE network star and chef of Parts & Labour, Matty Matheson.

The menu features pies crafted with gourmet ingredients like The Spudnik, for instance, which is loaded with confit fingerling potatoes, roasted garlic, rosemary and melange of cheeses including parmesan, fior di latte, mozzarella and ricotta.

Not to mention, the pizzeria offers classic accompaniments on the menu, including really good salads, wings, and thick-stacked Italian sandos.

And now the pizzeria is expanding!

Signs for a second location have been spotted on Avenue Road, north of Lawrence, just south of Pusateri’s. The signs are dated too: “10.17.” Which means Toronto’s northern neighbourhoods could be eating Maker Pizza by next month.

Ironically, the motto at Maker Pizza is “Deliver us from bad pizza…” which seems especially fitting considering the recent announcement of another incoming Toronto pizzeria.
