The biggest wins came from the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors, as each team picked up huge road wins to take the lead in their respective playoff series. Auston Matthews and Kasperi Kapanen scored for the Leafs, who came away with a 2-1 win in Boston, while Pascal Siakam scored 30 points for the Raptors, who had a relatively easier time winning 98-93 in Orlando.

Also picking up a playoff win was the Toronto Marlies, who won their opening game of the AHL playoffs 4-1 in Rochester.

Over on the west coast, the Toronto Blue Jays were victorious in their series opener in Oakland, as Marcus Stroman pitched eight innings in a 5-1 win.

Across the pond in England, the Toronto Wolfpack doubled up the Barrow Raiders 52-26.

The only team to score a W at home was Toronto FC, who won a high-scoring affair at BMO Field, winning 4-3 with goals from a pair of goals each from Alejandro Pozuelo and Jordan Hamilton.
