GO Transit and UP Express offering FREE rides on New Year's Eve

Besides the TTC being free on New Year’s Eve, Metrolinx also has GO Transit and the UP Express offering free rides on the popular party night.
Both GO and UP will be operating on a Sunday schedule but will have late-night service and free rides after 7 pm to encourage Torontonians to stay safe and take transit.
So along with the TTC, there will be more options than the surging Uber rides after the fireworks display downtown Toronto.
In case you’re still on the fence about what to do, there are a ton of events going on around the city.
This includes an epic party at the ROM and the first-ever New Year’s Eve party at the one and only CN Tower.
