A Canadian man has taken home the proverbial crown from this year’s annual cheese-rolling race at Cooper’s Hill in Gloucester, UK.

According to the BBC, 21-year-old Mark Kit of Toronto won the final men’s downhill race on Monday, May 27.

It’s reported that Kit had been inspired to participate in the event after seeing videos of cheese rolling when he was a kid.

It takes a special kind of adrenaline junkie to feel drawn to this sort of activity, so kudos to Kit for taking the plunge. He’s the big cheese now.
