This might be the single worst apartment for rent in Toronto right now (PHOTOS)
If you’ve always wanted a ladder to get to your bed every night, there’s a Toronto rental out there just for you.
Listed as a “cute little bachelor with high ceilings”, this place boasts a Juliet balcony and a loft area for a single mattress or storage.
The problem is, if you use it for storage, there may not be any other area for your single mattress. Or cat.

Located at Carlton and Sherbourne, the brick-walled bachelor is going for $1,100, which is way below the average cost of rent in Toronto for a one-bedroom… with a kitchen.
From the looks of it, the “kitchen” here includes a hot plate and a toaster oven.
But there is a bathroom, and it comes with a plant and some grime too!
The space may attract potential downtown dwellers with its Juliet balcony draw… although the photos only seem to show a (potential) window for now.
The is a photo of a fireplace, however. Though it’s not mentioned in the listing as a heating source, so it could just be used as your cat’s new home.
There is no laundry, but let’s be real, this is all about that ladder.
And it is close to amenities. All of which you will need. Desperately.
