This year has quickly become the new age of self-isolation and social distancing, so it’s nice to reminisce about a time where traveling was an option.

Fortunately, there are several travel bloggers to help inspire you through their past adventures. We highlighted five of our favorites that took us across the globe — from the safe comfort of our couch.

Who else keeps documents from their trips? 🗺 I keep a box full of ticket stubs, train schedules, brochures and maps. I was digging through it because I really miss traveling, and discovered almost 40 postcards! 😱 I know we all miss traveling and human connection, so I’m going to send 10 of you hand-written postcards from some of my travels 🤗 ….. ✈️Starting tomorrow I’ll be launching #francescastraveltrivia in my stories. Each day I’ll highlight a different destination with a quiz at the end, then I’ll randomly pick a winner from whoever answers correctly! 💖 Hopefully it inspires you to keep wanderlust alive, while showing love to the destinations who have supported me in the past. ….. 🇮🇹To kick things off I’m going to mail a postcard from Rome to someone in the comments. Leave a comment with your favorite place you’ve been and why! Can’t wait to read your answers 😍 [Closed! Congrats @intentionally.there]

Fun Fact : over 50% of our Instagram community lives outside the USA. ❤️💙💚 It’s kind of crazy that this will be our 1st 4th of July as a family in the USA! 🇺🇸 Every other year for the past 5 years we’ve been traveling somewhere outside the country. 🌍🌏🌎 Our travels have taught us 3 very important things about America : 1- We are grateful to be citizens of a country full of so much diversity, opportunity, and freedom. ❤️ 2- America is not the best country in the world. It is the best in some ways, but it is not the best in many ways. AND THAT IS OKAY! We love our country for its strengths AND recognize it’s flaws. 💙 3- Countries should strive to be their best, not THE best. The desire for a country to be THE best puts yourself above others and can be very dangerous mindset. It’s a powerful and beautiful thing to simply desire to be the best version of yourself. That means being proud of your strengths, acknowledging your weaknesses, and perhaps looking to other countries to learn from their strengths. 💚 What country are YOU from? What are some strengths you love about your own country? Have you traveled to another country besides your own? What were some things you loved about that country? Excited to read your comments! Wherever you are, have a great day and have a happy and safe Independence Day to our fellow Americans! 🇺🇸
