Forget about the halftime show, this year had some memorable Super Bowl commercials.
From really uncomfortable picks to straight-up heart warmers, here are 15 of our favorite ads from this years’ Super Bowl:
#15 — Cadillac
Timothee Chalamet as an iconic Scissorhands? Auto win.
#14 — Sam Adams
The horses are adorable, and the joke is alright. While we don’t love the idea of the ad, it somehow comes together.
#13 — Squarespace
Two words: Dolly Parton. Yes, the bright colors and dancing work too, but come on. DOLLY. PARTON.
#12 — Doritos 3d
“But a Dorito is already 3D, it’s a chip, what, this one spits back at you when you bit in?” said my roommate. Once the ad was over, he changed spirits to: “We’ve got to try those.”
#11 — Bass Pro Shops
Bass Pro Shops came in with the wholesome content, reminding us to go outside and participate in outdoorsy activities. 10 points for the beautiful scenery.
#10 — Bud Light Seltzer Lemonade
Making fun of the sh*t show that was 2020? Auto-like.
#9 — M&M’s
Even without one of our favorite actors of the moment, Dan Levy, this ad still would’ve made the list. Finally, M&M’s left the cartoons behind and opted for something more emotional while remaining funny.
#8 — Logitech
Lil Nas X killed this voiceover. That’s it, that’s all we have to say.
#7 — Amazon
This commercial made us so uncomfortable. Watch it for yourself to understand why we’re cringing.
#6 — Ford
Ford reminded us that the coronavirus pandemic is still around but kept things light by ending with #finishstrong. This ad made us happy knowing that life will once again return to normal.
#5 — UberEats
Cardi B is ICONIC paired with Wayne and Garth. The nods to their classic films along with Cardi’s classic tongue roll makes this ad one to remember.
#4 — Fiverr
Using the Four Seasons Total Landscaping goof as a center point of their ad was genius. The landscaping company had apparently used Fiverr last year, which prompted the partnership.
#3 — T-Mobile
Learning how Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s love story could’ve potentially began had us laughing and even Googling if they’re still together — they’re currently engaged.
#2 — Michelob ULTRA
This ad had my roommates saying, “Damn, that was a good one. I feel things.” That being said, another chimed in with, “I think my mom drinks those.”
#1 — Cheetos
Ashton Kutcher’s awful singing paired with our love for Mila Kunis and Shaggy really takes this commercial to number one. Keep your ears tuned for Shaggy’s verse — it’s gold.
