Position: Senior Full Stack Developer

Manager: Director of Product

Location: Vancouver (preferred) or remote

What you'll do

• Develop with the Product Team to build new products, features, and integrations for the Daily Hive website 
• Work in a fast paced, agile environment, collaborating in a cross functional Scrum team, partnering with other departments as necessary
• Partake in Daily Stand Up, Sprint Demos, Sprint Planning & Backlog grooming meetings
• Participate in code reviews and recommend best practices

What you have

• minimum of 5 years of development experience
• Front End: React, NextJS, SCSS/SASS/LESS experience
• Back End: NodeJS, Express
• WordPress: updating WP core and installing plugins, with a good grasp of Advanced Custom Fields or similar plugin and PHP
• Databases: MySQL, Postgres
• Integrations: Google Analytics, GAM, Stripe, SparkPost, Jira, BitBucket
• DevOps: basic understanding of AWS or GCP, Cloudflare, Kubernetes
• Ability to create & test API routes
• Capable of bug fixing & troubleshooting
