It seems like almost everything we do online these days requires a password.
Unfortunately, many people don’t take online passwords seriously, making them vulnerable to hackers.
And those hackers don’t come to play nice. They can steal important information, including things like say, your entire identity. So, to help protect your cybersecurity in 2018, SplashData released its annual list of the “Worst Passwords of the Year.”
“123456” took the top spot, followed by “Password” and “12345678.” So if you’re using these passwords as your login, it’s best to change them ASAP.
