This might be the most picturesque building in Canada right now (PHOTOS)
All month long, Niagara Falls has hands down been one of the most picturesque winter sights in Canada.
Attracting both tourists and photographers from far and wide, the nearly frozen falls have truly been a sight to see.
But now, it’s not just the falls that are causing visitors to stop to snap pictures, rather a small viewing point located at the base of the falls on the Canadian side.
Nestled amongst the cavernous rock and the rushing falls, there’s a single lookout post that can give brave spectators a very incredible vantage point to view the falls.
During this month’s rapidly changing weather, the post has become encased in ice, appearing to be frozen in time. At night, when the falls are lit up with colourful lights, the post resembles a view from out of this world.
To access this breathtaking view, visitors can purchase the Behind the Falls experience, where they’ll have the opportunity to descend 125 feet below the surface to explore the 130-year-old tunnels throughout the bedrock.
If you’re worried about getting wet, there are also viewing portals cut straight through the rock, offering once-in-a-lifetime views of the falls.
But in case you don’t feel like trecking out into the cold but want to see what all the fuss is about, a number of visitors have shared their own pictures of the incredible sight, each view different from the last.
