3 men charged in connection to shooting at Raptors celebrations

Toronto Police have announced the names of three suspects arrested in connection to a shooting that took place during yesterday’s Raptors NBA championship celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square.

Abdikarim Kerow, 18, Thaino Toussaint, 20, and Shaquille Anthony Miller, 25, appeared in court on June 18.

The shooting left four people with injuries during yesterday’s parade.

The trio is facing multiple charges for drug-related offences as well as carrying a concealed weapon and unauthorized possession of firearms.

Police are looking to identify a person of interest who left the scene of the shooting. He is described as a white male, 5’9″ to 6′, with short brown hair and a heavy build. He was wearing a white button-down shirt.

Two separate stabbings also occurred near Toronto Eaton Centre during Monday’s parade.
