It’s no secret that Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir–Canada’s favourite platonic ice dancing pair– have some serious chemistry on the ice and it probably has to do with their
romance friendship that started way back when they were just kids.
Moir, 30, and Virtue, 28, have been skating together since 1997 when Moir’s aunt paired them up.
For over 20 years, the duo has been ice dance partners and have built a pretty special bond. And while the whole world wants them to date, Virtue and Moir have claimed to just be great friends.
But pictures Virtue has shared on her Instagram of her and Moir skating as kids, are making hope that they actually start dating and be the Canadian ice dance fairytale love story we’re all dreaming of.
How can you NOT want them to be a real couple? This is definitely one of the greatest love stories in the making.
Until then, we can just keep hoping and cheering them on as they go for gold at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang on Monday night.
