The ultimate guide to student discounts across Canada

Sep 3 2019, 4:35 pm

Student debt. Those are just two words that make most people shudder the instant they hear it.

It’s not a surprise considering how much student tuition has hiked up over the last couple of years, along with everything else. Nothing is getting cheaper.

But here’s a guide to help you save some cash (and relieve some of your stress) while you study in school.

Many businesses, retail stores, and restaurants offer discounts to students with proof of student enrolment (such as a student ID), which can turn into huge savings.

Students can also sign up for an ISIC Canada Card for $20 annual membership, or an SPC Card for $10 annual membership – both offering discounts at participating locations.

Make sure you always carry your student ID with you, as you never know whether or not an establishment does student discounts.

We’ve compiled an extensive list below of our favourite spots that offer student discounts. From food to clothing stores to technology, we’ve done the research so you don’t have to.
