Vegas to Maui: It's been snowing in really weird places this winter (PHOTOS)

Don’t worry Canadians, you’re not the only ones who have been caught off guard by unwelcome snowfalls this winter.

Yes, Old Man Winter has made himself known over the past couple of months, and not only has he flexed his chops with the incredibly Instagrammable polar vortex, but he has even visited some of your favourite warm weather vacation spots that rarely, if ever, see snow.

From the deserts of Arizona to a National Park in Maui, uncharacteristically low temperatures are transforming places you would never expect into winter wonderlands.

If you thought Vancouverites freak out about snow, imagine the locals of Maui getting hit with a snowfall — and possibly a record-breaking one at that. How does one even cope? (Yes, we are being dramatic).
