Quebec minimum wage to increase to $12 by May 2018

Minimum wage workers in Quebec will receive larger paycheques by May 1, 2018.

According to the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Solidarity, the province’s minimum wage will go up by 75 cents, bringing the hourly wage to $12.

Currently, Quebec’s minimum wage is $11.25 and the province last implemented an increase in 2017.

The Province is expected to make an official announcement this morning.
