You can get a FREE e-gift card for paying your credit card bill this month

When it comes to saving money on the things you want and need, you can’t beat the feeling of sheer joy that comes with getting something for free.

If you’re the kind of person who’s first in line when stores are giving away free stuff as part of a promotion and dedicate your time to finding the best deals online, that’s awesome. But even if you feel like you’re always out of luck, there’s a way that you can win this month.

Canadian mobile payments app Paytm Canada lets you pay any bill right from your smartphone. And for every transaction that you make with the app (either paying a bill or purchasing an e-gift card), you’ll collect Paytm points: 1 point = $1 spent.

From now through May 24, you’ll receive a free $5 e-gift card when you make a minimum $1,000 card bill payment using the Paytm app. E-gift cards will be randomly selected and limited to one per user account while quantities last.

Once your credit card bill payment has been completed, you’ll find the e-gift card in the “My Pocket” section of the app. And just like that, you could be on your way to a free coffee with an e-gift card for Starbucks or Tim Hortons, an e-gift card for Hudson’s Bay, Amazon.ca, Sephora, Esso, or even Boston Pizza.

When you collect a minimum of 10,000 Paytm Points from paying your bills through the app, you can redeem them for a free $10 e-gift card for your favourite brands. Cineplex, Choose from Winners, Ultimate Dining, and many more. Or, choose to redeem your Paytm Points for discounted e-gift cards.
