The Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art is hosting their last Friday Nocturne of the year

Sep 29 2016, 8:39 pm

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal is known for being the first contemporary art museum in all of Canada.

In addition to their stunning exhibits, the museum has become known in recent years for their Friday Nocturnes.

Essentially an after hours party at the museum, Friday Nocturnes take place on four fridays each year, giving Montrealers a chance to explore the museum’s exhibits after dark alongside a few museum experts.

2016’s Friday Nocturnes have been wildly successful so we’re sad to report that there’s just one event left to attend.

Happening on Friday, November 4th from 5 pm-2 am, the Museum of Contemporary Art will give visitors a chance to explore La Biennale de Montreal, an exhibition focusing on the question: is hedonism possible today?

In addition to the exhibition, the last Friday Nocturnes of the year includes interactive tours, a live DJ, an art workshop, and drinks and appetizers.

Spend a cold Friday in November exploring one of Montreal’s best art museums while partying (with class of course) the night away!

Friday Nocturnes

When: November 4, 5 pm-2 am
Where: Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, 185 Rue Sainte-Catherine
