Meghan Markle talks climate justice, Indigenous rights in Vancouver (PHOTOS)

Meghan Markle has been keeping busy while spending time in Vancouver.

On Tuesday, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre shared a photo of Markle paying them a surprise visit and it turns out that wasn’t the only organization the Duchess of Sussex met with.

Justice for Girls, a non-profit group that “pushes for young women to be at the forefront of designing law, policy, and programs” shared pictures on Twitter of Markle meeting with its members on Tuesday.

“Yesterday, The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle visited to discuss climate justice for girls and the rights of Indigenous peoples,” wrote Justice for Girls on Twitter.

“Was great to talk about the importance of a holistic approach to social justice, and the power of young women’s leadership.”

Vancouverites may be seeing a lot more of Meghan and Prince Harry. The royal couple recently revealed they were departing from their duties within the royal family to split their time between Canada and the United Kingdom, and the Queen said she’s fine with the decision.
