Meghan Markle was spotted in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside today

We knew Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were fond of Canada, but we didn’t think they’d be here so soon.

Just days after announcing she and her husband would be taking a step back from their work as “senior” members of the royal family, Markle was spotted in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.

The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre posted a photo of Meghan, captioning the image “Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community.”

Meghan and Harry recently revealed they were departing from their duties within the royal family to split their time between Canada and the United Kingdom, and the Queen said she’s fine with the decision.
