9 places to meet Santa in Montreal this December

December is the month of good cheer, holiday festivities, and of course, Santa Claus.

Luckily, you won’t have to travel to the North Pole because Santa is making appearances all over the city throughout the month of December. Sometimes he will even be in two places at once (we won’t tell the kids if you won’t).

Visit with Santa

Meet Santa and have your picture taken with him at Carrefour Laval All proceeds go towards The Children’s Wish Foundation.

Santa Visits

Santa has touched down at Galeries d’Anjou. Meet the big guy and have your photo taken just in time for Christmas Day. Visits are free but be sure to reserve your spot soon!

Festival Noel Dans Le Parc

Three Montreal parks will be turned into a holiday paradise this December thanks to Festival Noels Dans Le Parc. Taking place from December 1st until Christmas Day, each of the three participating parks will be filled with holiday activities like marshmallow roasting, bonfires, gift stands, Christmas tree stands, and of course, weekend Santa-sightings.

Santa’s Kingdom

Santa is back at Complexe Desjardins this Christmas! Head on over this downtown mall and marvel at Santa, his elves, and of course the grand carousel going round and round.

Visit with Santa

Santa has returned from the North Pole. Meet him while you can, at Fairview Mall in Pointe Claire. It is recommended to book a time slot in advance online.

Merry Montreal

Head to Old Port this holiday season and enjoy a slew of free activities, ranging from a New Year’s Eve party to outdoor yoga. Stroll through the market, set up in Place Jacques Cartier, and you’ll find gourmet food, warm drinks, artisanal crafts, and local art.

Marché de Noël et des Traditions de Longueuil

Don’t miss out on this event that invites families to take a ride on the North Pole train and visit with Santa Claus. Admission is free.

Village de Noël de Montréal

Mark this on your calendars! An enchanting Christmas village is coming to Montreal this December. Village de Noël de Montréal will feature holiday vendors, delicious treats, sparkling Christmas trees, lights, Santa Claus and so much more!

When: December 7 to December 10, and December 15  to December 17
Where: Place du Marche, corner of St-Ambroise and Atwater

Le Grand Marche de Noel

From December 1 to 24, Le Grand Marche de Noel will be taking over Place des Arts. This German-style Christmas market will feature food trucks, a Santa’s Cabin, Elves Workshop, and Santa’s Sleigh. There will also be carol singers, karaoke, storytime, and so many more events happening for the holiday season.
