A massive fireworks show is taking over Old Montreal this summer

Old Port is about to get lit up.

There’s nothing better than summertime fireworks in Montreal and the official schedule for L’International des Feux Loto-Québec (IFLQ) has just been released.

The celebrations will take place from July 7 to August 8 and will be held each Wednesday and Saturday.

This year’s competition will feature shows from Austria, Canada, China, the US, Australia, and for the first time — the Philippines.

For Your Eyes Only

“My name is Bond… James Bond.” Travel dangerously through the life of everyone’s favourite spy, Agent 007, featuring music from Dr. No to Spectre with songs by Paul McCartney, Adele, Shirley Bassey, Tina Turner, Madonna and more.

“L’International des Feux Loto-Québec attracts over three million people annually, making it one of Quebec’s most highly attended events,” said La Ronde park president, Janine Durette, in a release.  “La Ronde is honoured to be the host site for this long-standing tradition beloved by Montrealers and tourists alike.”
