Tomorrow is the last day to register for a FREE $25 card from Loblaw.

The free Loblaw Card Program, which launched in January, follows the Canadian grocery chain’s admission to bread price fixing over 14 years.

Tuesday, May 8, 2018 is officially the last day for Canadians to apply for the freebie intended by the company “as an expression of remorse and an effort to regain the confidence of customers,” according to court documents.

Loblaw has already recorded the cost of the Card Program as $126 million in the last quarter of 2017 and first quarter of 2018, and while the company expects that $25 cards issued to customers will offset against ongoing class-action lawsuits before the courts, Justice Morgan stated in a decision in January 2018, that “that is not for certain…” and the decision will be reserved for the courts at the end of the action.
