An entrepreneur out of Calgary, Alberta is hoping to change the way you buy condoms.

Joey Pomerleau, a student from Mount Royal University, has just launched the condom subscription service Wednesday Co., offering a top up of condoms to customers’ doorsteps every month.

“I had no clue what product would best suit my needs. Ribbed? Studded? Heated and cooling sensations?” said Pomerleau in a release.

“A wall of overdone, unrealistic products backed by limited information and even more limited representation left me unsatisfied and disappointed. I knew I wasn’t the only one feeling this way. That’s when I started Wednesday Co.”

The company not only plans to do away with the barriers that have been built up during the industry’s heteronormative days, states the release, but to also provide a product marketed towards people of all races, ages, genders, body types, and sexual orientations.

Would-be customers can sign up to receive packs of three, six, or 12 condoms every month, aptly named the “Just In Case,” I’ve Got Big Plans,” and “Always Ready” plans.

(We’re also sure multiple plans can be purchased if you happen to use more than a dozen condoms per month, and plans can be cancelled or changed with no strings attached at any time.)

The monthly costs range from $8.50 to $15, with free shipping on all Canadians orders — saving many people that awkward trip out to the corner store.

As for the product itself, the Wednesday Co. website states that all condoms are ultra-thin, lubricated, and made from high grade 100% natural latex.

A total of 10% of all profits will go to a different charity every month, with this month’s funds currently going towards Rainbow Railroad, an LGBTQI support organization.

The Wednesday Co. website also offers information on how to make a dental dam, how to properly put on a condom, and where to get tested — crucial knowledge for any sexually-active individuals.

For now, the company only serves Canada and the United States, and new subscribers should be receiving their first shipment within five to seven business days.

…Though there is always the corner store to cover those days if you can’t quite wait that long!
