Canada's tallest Christmas tree has just arrived at Place des Arts

If you’ve been there in the last 36 hours, you may have noticed an alarmingly tall Christmas tree.
Set up earlier this week, this massive Christmas tree is being hailed as the tallest in Canada.
Officially opened by Mayor Coderre on Wednesday night, the magnificent tree is certainly bringing holiday cheer to Montreal.
Hundreds of people gathered to witness the lighting of the tree, located in Quartier des Spectacles, right next to Le Grand Marche de Noel, one of Montreal’s best Christmas markets.
