Canada more popular than Trump and Clinton in latest US election poll

In a staggering turn of events, a new frontrunner in the US election has emerged, miles ahead of both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.

Strange as it may seem, a new poll has found that 75% of registered American voters like Canada. That means more Americans have a favourable view of the Great White North than both Clinton (who is supported by only 37% of voters), and Trump (who manages only 28%) combined.

That means that if Canada was running in November’s election it would win, by a landslide.

This nugget of election polling comes courtesy of the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal Survey, which consulted 1,000 registered US voters, from September 16 to 19. The poll asked peoples’ opinions on a range of subjects including presidential candidates, countries, and the media.

So, in the face of overwhelming support in the US, it is clear what must be done… Canada for President!
