Agropur Comté cheese recalled across Canada due to listeria

Agropur is recalling its Comté cheese products after a test by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency found Listeria in a sample.

The recalled product is the firm-ripened Comté cheese under the Agropur Import Collection brand. It was sold in the 200-gram size with a best before stamp of 17 DE 15 and the UPC code 0 67400 00397 0.

The recall is Canada-wide. If you have this product at home you should throw it away or return it back to the store where it was purchased.

The CFIA says there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
