Boredom is simply not an option in Tokyo. From hedgehog cafés and robot restaurants to the busiest intersection in the world, this city is bursting with epic things to check out — and it just added another big attraction to the list.

Japan’s bustling capital is now home to the largest Starbucks roastery in the world, and it definitely deserves an appearance on your ‘gram.

The 32,000 square foot store is broken out into four storeys:

  • Floor one: Bakery and café
  • Floor two: The world’s largest Teavana tea room, featuring 20 different kinds of tea
  • Floor three: Arriviamo cocktail bar, serving up coffee-inspired beverages
  • Fourth floor: Roasting factory (including Starbucks’ largest roaster), lounge area, workshop space

This is only the fifth roastery location that Starbucks has opened in the world, joining the distinguished club of Seattle, Milan, New York, and Shanghai (the former leader for the largest roastery).

Located in Nakameguro, the roastery is inspired by the nearby cherry blossom paradise surrounding the Meguro River. During peak season, guests will even have a view of the sakura trees through the glass walls and terrace.
