The funniest reactions to today's mobile alert system test
Canada was unified this afternoon as citizens across the country received a unique sound on their mobile devices (at least you were supposed to).
Publicly branded as Alert Ready, wireless providers sent out a mobile alert to every device connected to an LTE network, as well as through radio airwaves, TVs, and social media channels to test the new National Public Alerting System, which sounded similar to a siren.
