Free live home fitness classes will be broadcast around the world on April 24

As the spread of the pandemic continues to keep gyms closed across the world, ClassPassĀ has announcedĀ Together We Sweat, a day of free, live home fitness classes broadcast around the world.

The event celebrates the “power of inclusivity and intention,” and invites individuals of “all ages, abilities and geographies” to move together from the safety of their homes.

No equipment will be needed and participants will be able to join live workouts from anywhere in the world. A ClassPass membership is not necessary to join in on the workout.

ā€œGroup workouts build camaraderie, accountability and community. When we show up to support and challenge each other, we work harder and grow stronger,ā€ says Shari Castelli, ClassPass Director of Partner Expansion. ā€œTogether We Sweat is a day for people from all backgrounds to move without judgement or expectation, and to commit to doing something positive together.ā€

Together We Sweat has nabbed some established fitness studios from around the world to host classes. The lineup includes:

  • Lean Bean (Sydney)
  • Ground Zero (Singapore)
  • The Platform (Dubai)
  • Saints & Stars (Amsterdam)
  • BLOK (London)
  • Rumble (New York)
  • 305 Fitness (Los Angeles)

Each studios will be showcasing a variety of workout genres including Pilates, barre, HIIT, dance cardio, and boxing.

Participants are encouraged to try top workouts from around the globe. There is no limit to the number of classes each person can join, and all workouts will be streamed from ClassPassā€™ YouTube Live channel.
