Check out Banff Gondola's Mountaintop Christmas this holiday season
Christmas is coming early at the top of Sulphur Mountain, all thanks to Banff Gondola’s stunning Mountaintop Christmas event.
From mid-November until the end of December, the Banff Gondola turns its sky-high destination into a Winter Wonderland, complete with visits from Santa, cookie decorating, a Christmas film at the theatre, an elf name generator, star gazing, and a mulled wine bar.

Kids get free admission (per one adult admission) if they take the gondola up before noon, and all the Christmassy goodness that awaits at the top is built into the price of the ticket.

Sitting 7,500 ft in the sky, the air may be cold, but it also appears to be filled with that good ol’ holiday spirit.
Tickets cost $53 for adults and $26.50 for children on weekdays, or $53 and $28 on weekends. Discounts are offered for families, evenings, and locals.
The last gondola ride down each night is scheduled for 8:30 pm most days, meaning that you’ll get a few solid hours of stargazing in before it’s time to head out.
