The Bowden SunMaze in Bowden, Alberta, is predicting that their fields will be in full bloom during the third week of August, and they expect to open mid-way through the month if all goes as planned.

The maze is a hot-spot for those hoping to capture that perfectly yellow picture, and it also offers a selection of Upick vegetables for sale.

“We are busy planning and getting things ready for the summer of 2020. Unfortunately we are not sure just yet to what capacity or when we will open,” states the website.

“With that said, if the farm can open, we will be ready Mid August with the first patch of sunflowers reaching full bloom around the third week of August and will carry through to the first frost Mid September.”

Admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children, and free for those four and under. Pets are welcome to come along for the fun, though owners are asked to keep them on leash and clean up after them.
