Floating Lantern Peace Ceremony

Summer family event filled with music performance, inspirational speeches, and beauty of lanterns on the pool!

Our keynote speaker is Ms. Lorelei Higgins, Mrs. Canada Globe 2021, a Métis Canadian Cultural Mediator, a Rotary Peace Fellow and Positive Peace Activator.

Our featured singer songwriter; Kaley Kinjo, and an Opera singer; Leila Keith.

This summer's ceremony marks the 10th anniversary and the finale of the "Building A Culture of Peace Month," adopted by the City of Calgary with proclamation.

Rent your lanterns, launch them on the pool, and enjoy time looking at the beauty of these colorful lanterns on the water and reflecting how to create peaceful community, society and the world!

Date & Time: August 6, Saturday, background music starts at 6 pm, stage agenda starts at 6:30 pm, Speeches start 8 pm, and Lantern-launching start 8:45 pm.
