The current state of the world is one we’re still trying to get used to living in.

Restaurants, big and small, have been quickly attempting to adapt to the new normal, and for some of Western Canada’s larger chains, that means transforming into a market of sorts.

Joey, Local, and Earls have all launched basic grocery options available for takeout or delivery.

All of these establishments are offering fresh produce, baked goods, pantry essentials, and ready-made meals, alongside their regular menus, plus beer and wine.

The Joey Market grocery delivery service can now be accessed on DoorDash. People can also opt for curbside pickup as an option across Canada.

Earls Grocery essentials are available for pickup at most of its Canadian locations.

Several Local locations across the country have launched a “corner store” option for patrons. This means people can find everything from fresh buns to produce to Local Nacho & El Caesar Mix Kits and even toilet paper available through DoorDash.

We’ve never had more options to grab grub outside of the grocery store, be sure to take advantage of this service if you need a meal and some pantry essentials.
