Here's everything you can smash at Calgary's rage room (VIDEO)

Have you ever been so fed up with a faulty printer or slow laptop that you start your day just dreaming about tossing it across the room?

Well, you – and your somewhat concerning fantasies – are in luck, as Calgary has a room just for that.

At Thundrdome Amusements, an archery, melee, and raging-out centre that opened in Calgary in 2017, you can spend 45 minutes smashing, throwing, and stomping to your heart’s content.

The “Rage Room” is only available to those 18 and up and cost $25 for one session – not a bad price as far as hands-on therapy goes.

Prices go up based on how many things you want to smash, with the initial $25 covering one box of your own breakables. it’s an additional cost for extra items (depending on the size) or you can choose one of their packages: Get Smashed, Office Space, Date Night, or Super Smash.

Super Smash features 20 small items, 12 medium items, 5 large items, and 2 electronics.

Smashable items include ceramics, plates, printers, vases, bottles, coffee makers, and whatever else you’ve been harbouring a red hot rage for from your own home.

The room can accommodate up to four destroyers in one go, making it perfect for a date night, office bonding experience, or family fun times.

Anyone looking to deal some destruction needs to book online or call ahead to reserve their spot in the rage room.

Thundrdome also offers archery battles, a nerf gun and sword combat room, dance parties, ThundrFit, bubble soccer, and arts and crafts parties.

So if you ever need to blow off some steam, or are just looking for an interesting date idea, maybe give some smashing a try.
