The third annual Yogathon in Vancouver takes place this Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Jack Poole Plaza. It brings together passionate Yogis and non yogis alike doing 108 sun salutations, with a beautiful backdrop.
Yogathon is international, being held in 6 cities in Canada and over 40 cities globally. This year’s partners in Vancouver include YYoga, Steve Nash Fitness Club and O.N.E. Coconut Water as well as nine incredible Vancouver yoga teachers from various schools and styles of Yoga.
Yogathon, the 108 sun salutation charity challenge, will be guided by 9 teachers to raise vital funds for Care for Children, an organization that provides education to children in rural and developing areas primarily in India. Currently the organization runs 383 schools with almost 34,000 students attending.
