Every time we try to catch up on the news, negative stories constantly seem to dominate the headlines. There’s a reason why we say some things “restore our faith in humanity” – it’s because we rarely get exposed to the wealth of good things happening around us everyday.

John Williams is a 92-year-old who spends more time in the gym than most of us. Williams has suffered from a heart attack and a stroke but that has not gotten in the way of him going to his local gym in Nelson, New Zealand, three times a week for the past eight years. Recently, Williams was going to swipe his membership card at the gym’s reception desk when he realized he needed to add more money on the card.

That’s when a gym staff member told him that it had all been taken care of and the fitness centre had agreed to give him a free lifetime membership for being the oldest member. “I thought it was absolutely fab… Coming to the gym for me is a relief because otherwise I wouldn’t meet people. You can’t go out in the street and start talking to people but coming here I can and do. I’ve got a big mouth,” Williams told Stuff New Zealand.

3. Bears play with balloon

“Beren maken kennis met een ballon!” Wilde deze video graag delen omdat je de beren maar weinig op deze manier ziet ???? (we hebben in de gaten gehouden dat de beren en apen de ballon niet op aten). Groeten Xaviera Simons

McMillan was devastated and embarrassed but she wanted to get back at her body shamers. She decided to design t-shirts that featured the slogan “Dee the Fat Whale Saves the Whales.” It was a way for her to take back the joke and support a good cause. He also offered to walk Sedgebeer to the shop so she would not have to go there alone in the dark. Mark returned in the morning to escprt Sedgebeer back to the station.
