The Vancouver Whitecaps made a pair of minor moves on Tuesday.

First-team striker Kyle Greig and Whitecaps FC centre back Sem de Wit are off to FC Cincinnati of the USL.

Greig, who recently graduated from the WFC2 program in December, will be loaned through December 31, while de Wit has been transferred.

The move to FC Cincinnati reunites the pair with their former coach with WFC2, Alan Koch.

Greig will be eligible to rejoin the Whitecaps following the 2017 MLS season.

“It’s important for players to continue to develop and these moves provide Kyle and Sem a new opportunity and challenge,” said Whitecaps FC head coach Carl Robinson. “Kyle remains a part of our club and we’ll track his progress closely. Also, we are thankful to Sem for his time in Vancouver, and wish him the best of luck in this next stage of his career.”
